The one with super moody weather?

This morning Sabre and I (reluctantly) woke up to the calmest seas possible (that was good), I mean it looked like a lake in the wee hours (Sandy, you would have wanted to ski). It was incredible; we did not stumble, sway, slip, or trip all morning. After lunch I took a much-needed nap (we lost another hour last night) and when I woke up the boat was rocking like crazy. At first thought I believed it was just my mind adjusting to waking up on a boat, but alas it was not. Sabre and I were signed up to do a bridge tour at 3 pm, and it was great! We got to see all the inner workings of the steering. There were many people disappointed that we were on autopilot, and two crazy blonde girls who were well a bit over the top. But we took lots of pictures of all the little gizmos, and in the captains chair with the fancy hat :] It was fun, but we had a lot of reading to do so we went back to our room to study until dinner time. For dinner tonight I had: no appetite thanks to the horrendous fishy smell in the dining room, a PB&J on white bread to mix up from my usual wheat, a piece of French bread, tomato slices, and a chocolate-y dessert. Not good to say the least. Now Sabre is watching a required movie with one of her classes, and I am contemplating weather I am going to the enrichment lectures tonight, or watch Pans Labyrinth on the TV in my room because its playing tonight. Well tomorrow we will pass through the Straights of Gibraltar (the little opening into the Mediterranean sea via the Atlantic). From then on hopefully it will be smooth sailing and time will fly, which in my mind is good and bad. I know once I disembark in Virginia I will miss the MV Explorer, I do really enjoy it, but I miss home, as is to be expected from such a mamma and daddy’s girl. The voyage has hardly begun, really in my mind it won’t even start until Barcelona, I know I have said it a hundred times already but I am sooo excited for Spain!!!

I will post another entry tonight with my final itinerary for each country; I finally got all my trips sorted out.

Loves,
Cris
